Becoming a Junior Member

Sub Juniors: 12 - 14 years old
Provisional Juniors: 14 - 17 years old

The process of becoming a sub-junior or provisional junior is as follows:

  • Regular attendances at junior clinics
  • Knowledge of club rules and etiquette of golf
  • Correct equipment and attire

Once all the above have been satisfied the junior will then qualify for the following provided you continue to attend junior clinics to maintain improvement and progress your game.

  • Social play on the course
  • use of the practice facilities
  • Ability to gain an Australian Golf Union Handicap
  • Participate in junior competitions
  • Play in junior events around the state
  • Represent the club in junior pennants

Once you completed a minimum of two years in each category and maintained attendance and improvement you may then be invited by the club to join Cottesloe Golf Club as a Junior Member.
