Pennefather’s Lounge

Whether a light meal before your round of golf or something more substantial, Members and guests can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of dining at Cottesloe Golf Club. Choose your location of the newly named Pennefather’s Lounge, Sprig Bar, Dining Room or step outside and take in the stunning scenery of the Indian Ocean, lush golf course and Perth city skyline from the spacious balcony Terrace.

Pennefather’s Lounge was named after Cottesloe Golf Club’s inaugural President, RW Pennefather KC who also held the position of WA Attorney General from 1897 to 1901. Pennefather is commemorated at the Club with the President’s Trophy, which he presented to the Club in 1910, and is still played for annually.

If you would like to reserve a table for lunch or dinner, please book online or call us. Family and guests are welcome, with the exception of some member only events.

The Club bar is extensively stocked with a variety of imported, domestic and local beers, wine and spirits, ensuring there is something for everyone.

Kitchen opening hours:

Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat and Sunday: lunch from 10am to 3pm, Snack menu from 3pm to 6:30pm.

Friday 10am to 8:30pm (last orders).

Closed Monday, unless otherwise advised.

We have lots of great events coming up during October and November.

Supper Club continues on Friday nights throughout the months of October and November after a successful installment of our grill series in September.

Each Friday in October, Chef will be spit roasting a delicious and tender range of meats, beginning with pork, priced at $35. With a children’s menu and an optional dessert, be sure to get down to The Pennefathers Lounge and experience our premium and limited spit roast menu.

Supper Club continues in November with a weekly seafood platter. Each week we will delight you with tasty and fresh premium seafood, with options of shared or singular servings. These delicious platters will be complemented by Chef’s choice of sauces.

Live entertainment and complimentary wine tastings with cheese available at each Supper Club.

Bookings really help us with food preparation and table settings, so please book ahead if possible, through the app or website.
