Kay Lane recognised for a lifetime contribution to golf
Congratulations to Member, Kay Lane for taking out the prestigious WA Golf Industry Distinguished Service Award, at the WA Golf Industry Awards night.
Kay has been a Member at Cottesloe for 54 years, after following her husband into golf and immediately loved it. She continues to play and cannot imagine life without the sport.
Kay was the Cottesloe Women’s Captain in 1984-1985, and Women’s President in 2003-2004, but has also been actively involved in golf administration at state and national level for five decades and championed the establishment of a junior girls golf program in WA, which was later adopted by other states.
Congratulations Kay, an award well deserved.
